Waterix AIRIT 900The Waterix AIRIT 900 aerator is designed to cater to very large aeration requirements. Its main applications are sewage treatment processes of large municipalities and industry, in particular for the forestry industry. The AIRIT 900 aerator moves a vast amount of water, so the process will require little or no extra mixing. In processes where aeration is irregular, the device may also be used as a mixer only. The maximum output of the device is up to 37.5 kilograms of oxygen an hour, or 900 kilos within a twenty-four hour period. The high operating efficiency of the AIRIT 900 aerator ensures low energy consumption and the operating efficiency of the device remains high throughout the life of the product. The device is affordable and its overall lifecycle costs are much lower than those of cheaper devices on the market. As the installation of the AIRIT 900 aerator does not require tubing or compressor rooms, but merely a basin and electricity, installation is effortless and capacity may be increased in the future if the purification plant so requires. AIRIT 900 aerators are very easy to install. The device may be either installed with boom fastening to the catwalk, on a separate side boom or fitted with its own floats. Floats are recommended for installations where the bearing distance of the boom is either too great or the fluctuations in water level complicate permanent fixing. As a number of devices are usually installed in a single basin, servicing and maintenance can be performed without interrupting the process. This entails in a reduction in overall costs as there is no longer need for one line to be shut down for performing maintenance and servicing. The Waterix aerator does not include any parts that require regular replacement, so the need for servicing and maintenance is minimal. If the application site has a number of devices, they may be connected to operate with other Waterix aerators using a single frequency transformer. In this way, the aeration efficiency can be adjusted steplessly and the most cost-efficient solution will be achieved. Real-time oxygen measurement may be integrated with the OxControl software running in the Ac-drive, so the aerator only operates with the necessary amount of power. This OxControl software enables also automatic propeller cleaning cycles and programmable aerating/mixing periods. Motor power reserve, the difference between nominal and normal intake power, is designed for really cold waters and for demanding mixing conditions.
