Waterix AIRIT 1700

The Waterix AIRIT 1700 aerator is designed to cater to very large aeration requirements. Its main applications are sewage treatment processes of large municipalities and industry, in particular for the forest industry. The AIRIT 1700 aerator moves a vast amount of water, so the process will require little or no extra mixing. In processes where aeration is irregular, the device may also be used as a mixer only.

The maximum output of the device is up to 70 kilograms of oxygen an hour, or 1690 kilos within a twenty-four hour period. The high operating efficiency of the AIRIT 1700 aerator ensures low energy consumption and the operating efficiency of the device remains high throughout the life of the product. The device is , as are all products of Waterix Ltd, high quality, and its overall lifecycle costs are much lower than those of competing devices or technologies on the market. As the installation of the AIRIT 1700 aerator does not require tubes or compressor rooms, but merely a basin and electricity, installation is effortless and capacity may be increased in the future if the wastewater treatment  plant so requires. AIRIT 1700 aerators are very easy to install.

The device may be either installed with boom fastening to the catwalk, on a separate side boom or fitted with its own floats. Floats are recommended for installations where the bearing distance of the boom is either too great or the fluctuations in water level complicate permanent fixing. As a number of devices are usually installed in a single basin, servicing and maintenance can be performed without interrupting the process. This entails in a reduction in overall costs as there is no longer need for one line to be shut down for performing maintenance and servicing. The Waterix aerator does not include any parts that require regular replacement, so the need for servicing and maintenance is minimal.

If the application site has a number of devices, they may be connected to operate with other Waterix aerators using a single frequency converter (Ac-drive). In this way, the aeration efficiency can be adjusted steplessly and the most cost-efficient solution will be achieved. Real-time oxygen measurement may be integrated with the OxControl software running in the Ac-drive, so the aerator only operates with the necessary amount of power. This OxControl software allows also automatic impeller cleaning cycles and programmable aerating/mixing periods.
